Mental Health America of Illinois –

For more than 100 years, Mental Health America of Illinois (MHAI) has been the leading non-profit, non-governmental, statewide organization in Illinois concerned with the entire spectrum of mental and emotional disorders. MHAI is dedicated to promoting mental health, working for the prevention of mental illness and improving care and treatment for persons suffering from mental and emotional disorders. MHAI is an affiliate of the national nonprofit, Mental Health America.

Illinois Mental Health Collaborative –

Whether you are an individual or a family member receiving services from the Illinois Department of Human Services/Division of Mental Health (DHS/DMH), or you represent a local mental health center, you can access relevant information with the touch of a finger.

National Alliance on Mental Illness Chicago –

We are the local Chicago affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, and known as NAMI Chicago. We are one of the largest, most active NAMI affiliates in the country, with full-time and part-time staff, graduate level interns, and dedicated weekly volunteers. We offer referrals, education, and support through our Helpline, which can be reached at (312) 563-0445 Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, in addition to our education courses and support groups for families and individuals. Our services are free.
